Water-skier to-be???

This last Christmas, Ellie's Uncle Terry borrowed us a water-ski handle-thingy... And we use it to pull Ellie around in her little car... Well, Today we were just playing with the actual handle... I would pull Ellie closer to me, and oh she would laugh... Soo, since she's already figured out the handle... Maybe she'll be following in her award-winning Uncle's footsteps.... I think we might have to wait until she's just a bit older though!!! :)

Such a silly girl...

All Ellie does now lately is shake her head 'No' to everything I ask her... It's so cute and fun, but at the same time, I want her to do some of these things.. Like you know, get her diaper changed... I don't know why she hates it so much all of a sudden... She goes through these phases, I swear... Oh well, hopefully she'll be talking more soon and all will be easier... I can't wait for the whole talking thing... 'Up' just has so many meanings, it's too crazy... ;) Oh well... :)

This last weekend Ellie had a ton of fun with her partner in crime... Ella :) They were sick buddies, both having ear infections... But it was a ton of fun!!! We had a lot of DDR, and the girls had their own dance matt as well! We ended the weekend in a photo shoot...

New Babydoll...

So... Ellie and I were looking at the Target Clearence (that was EXTREMELY Picked over by 2:30pm when we got there).... And we had to walk down a non-clearence isle... As we walked down there were these babydolls that ALL started talking to us... And Ellie's eyes just lit up, so I had to buy it... Well, I looked at the box and i thought it said 18 months... But, after I opened when we got home I realized it was for 2 years and older... But Ellie just loves it, so under supervision, she plays with it, you just have to see this video.... Here it is!!!

Napping...

I just have to say, Napping has been all over the place lately... Ellie has never been an allstar sleeper at night, so our day-time naps are always all over the place... Until today she has been refusing to nap before 1:00pm... But then today she got up before 6:00am (on my day off - I did NOT get to sleep in, sadly) and she started rubbing her eyes around 9:10, so I put a very unhappy baby down at 9:20, and she was out within 10 min. after playing in her crib for a little bit (she was unhappy for all of a min.) So, where does that leave our sleep pattern? Who knows... Last night was also the first night in who knows how long that she did not get up in the night... Teething has proven difficult times in the Dornfeld house, but have no fear, a little rocking, and motrin have done wonders for our little pride and joy :)...

So, I'm copying someone else, but had to give the comparison for a year for Ellie... Here we goo!!!

15 months old today!

So Ellie is 15 months old, running all over the place, and still a ton of fun... She's not a big talker yet.... But, she can usually get the message across whether it be by going up to her high chair when she's hungry, or rubbing her eyes when she's tired, and biting on her hand when her teeth are hurting with a painful look in her eyes (when I always feel the sadest for her!). She's still our little baldy... Hoping for more hair soon, though we do love her as she is... She's got a bunch of teeth, though she won't let me count... I'd guess there's about 9-11 now... And it's definately NOT symetrical, but she's still cute :) I'm really going to try to keep this up to date more too!!! As you can see in the pic, Ellie's become a little aware of where her nose is, and is not afraid to show it!
