Betty Brinn Fun
This past Friday Ellie and I were lucky enough to have her Aunt Michelle and cousin Jacob come down to Milwaukee to go to Betty Brinn's Children's Museum and play. The two of them had a blast, sometimes next to each other, sometimes in totally different worlds, but both had a great time, and that's what matters most! Thanks so much for coming down!!! :) Here's a video of Ellie and Jacob having a great time together!

Thank You Easter Bunny(ies)
Ellie had some VERY generous Easter Bunny visits from all over WI this year! She got a ton of toys and clothes, but this is just a subset of the things Ellie was playing with today... Some of it hasn't even been opened yet! (waiting for a nice day to play with the t-ball set)... Other parts of it are still at Grandma and Bapa's (the dolly-stroller)... And other of it I just couldn't fit in the picture with Ellie (clothes and basket)... But, the Easter Bunnies were VERY generous, and we just wanted to say 'THANK YOU!!!'
Ellie's excited for her Easter movie, her chicken dancer (she may have stolen that from me, but I'm a good sharer), her Mr. Potatoe Head Spud Bunny, and all of her little Seasame Street dolls (Great for the car ride there and back!)..... THANK YOU EASTER BUNNIES!

Easter
Every other year we switch off which side of the family we spend Easter with, and this year we went to Grandma and Grandpa Dornfeld's house, and had one of the most delicious meals we've had in a while! I know Matt ate so much he couldn't even eat dinner! Ellie had a great time playing with her cousins, aunts, uncles and Grandparents whom she doesn't get to see as often as we'd all like because they live in Appleton, but she had a great time!
Above is my attempt at getting all of the cousins in a picture together, quite difficult to do, and there were three of us trying to do it at the same time, so this was my best pic, but if anyone else got a better shot, please let me know! Below is a pic of Callah and I that I just loved and wanted to share :) I hope that's acceptable even though this is Ellie's Blogspot... ;)

StoneFire Pizza...
Friday night we had some Little Chuters in town and we all went to StoneFire Pizza Co. and Ellie had a blast! She got to have some quality time with her Uncle Dave, Aunt Mandi, and cousins Hannah and Callah! It was great to see you guys! Thanks for meeting up with us!!!

Our little Repeater...

All of a sudden this week Ellie is starting to say a few words... Some of them she now says on her own too! Like 'Dada'... She's been saying 'baby' for a bit now, but she also says 'off' when we turn off the light switch... And 'dolly' for her dolls... And yesterday I pointed to a dog before we got in the car and said 'doggy' and she repeated! She's still calling me 'maaa' rather then 'mama', but hey, we're working on it! Here's another picture of her just being cute... She loves to wear things on her head!
Sit 'n Spin...
Well, for Christmas this year, Matt and I got Ellie a Sit 'n Spin (cost me all of $10)... Anyway, Matt and I have been working on packing up some clutter from the house and since we were so busy, Ellie took that time to figure out how to play on the Sit 'n Spin (finally!)... Here she is...

Kinda Sorta

So, today we tried yet again for a pony tail on top of Ellie's head... Ella (her buddy) left a ponytail holder here a couple of weeks ago, and we tried with that, but her hair just isn't thick enough... Or my fingers are too fat... Anyway, I wrapped it as many tims as I could, and then just kind of tried to secure the rest of the holder with a hair clip... Whatcha think? Isn't she cute???
