Sitting and Laughing...

Emily has been SUCH a good sitter since April, and so we took a video then! And well, we love her laugh too... How could we not share these videos???

First 'solids'...

Well... Emily had her first solids on Sat. It didn't go quite perfectly, but it was entertaining to us... And of course we wanted to share!

To put it in one instant... this sums it up...

But we still gave mama big smiles!

We did try again on Sun. and she played with it in her mouth a bit more and then spit it out again... We'll just keep trying!

New Kitchen

We gave Ellie her brand new kitchen (finally), and she just loves it!

And the girls also love the box that it came in. I made a little house out of it for them. With some prodding from Dada, Ellie was even able to get Mama to join her in her little house!

Toys aren't only for kids...

And Dada used the tub crayons to do a geography lesson. Ellie now knows where her most of her extended family lives!

Ellie was just so cute playing with her train, and having a 'troll' under the bridge.. Her weeble-wobbles take turns who is the 'troll'...

Otherwise, we had a great weekend this weekend... Matt took Ellie to the park on Sat. (I took Emily for 3-month pics!) then this morning (Sun.) we took the family to the zoo... And then after naptime we went back outside for more playtime... I think it might've been too much fresh air as Ellie was wiped out before 7:00! (Unheard of for her!)... Hope you enjoy!

New Pics

Just thought I'd give a little update on my girls... Emily refuses to lift her head on tummy time... Which she did at first lift her head about a month ago a couple of times and has since decided it's more fun to try to move with her legs, so her tusch ends up in the air... Ellie is doing great, though she's had a cold for a while now... No fever, just an ever-present cold :( So, Emily also got the cold of course, but she seems to be a trooper with it, it's not bad at all... But, Mom is back at work, and happy about it :) But I miss my girls too! Here's a few pics...
